🏃‍♀️ About the Event and Redsneakers Peoria Chapter

Organized by Red Sneakers for Food Allergy Awareness – Peoria Chapter, the event featured multiple routes—including and‑on‑site pumpkin decorating—designed to engage families and individuals in a meaningful way. The initiative promotes: Food allergy safety through interactive education and Teal Pumpkin activities; Community solidarity, inclusively drawing participants of all ages to rally or virtual rally in “red sneakers” for awareness; Support network growth, bridging gaps in allergy education and resources across schools, healthcare, and underserved groups.

The Red Sneakers Peoria chapter describes the festival as “our largest annual event,” sustaining ongoing efforts in education, research, advocacy, and community support. The organization is committed to transparency and accountability, and the statistics of our community’s growing efforts and achievements are published on Candid GuideStar, a neutral third-party that makes the project impact transparent and accessible to the public.
