Caitlyn is a Nurse Practitioner who is primarily based in MASA Springfield. Caitlyn is a Springfield native, who fondly recalls her days of competitive sports at Sacred Heart Griffin. Her degree is Advanced-Practice Nurse (APN), as she holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing from Maryville University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. John’s College of Nursing. Prior to obtaining her advanced degrees, Caitlyn is experienced with critical illness, having been an RN in the Intensive Care Unit, as well as continuity of care services having a number of years under her belt as an RN treating allergies, asthma, and immunology. Caitlyn has a solid foundation in general medicine, having worked in Family Medicine before coming to pursue her passion at MASA in treating allergy, asthma, and immunology. Caitlyn is intent on keeping up-to-date on the latest research and best practices; she is also adamant on providing holistic care to all of the patients that she zealously serves. Outside of her work, Caitlyn spends most of her time enjoying the great outdoors with her loving family. Two of her three children love to play sports, and the whole family loves to support them. In addition to expertly treating allergy and severe asthma patients, Caitlyn is a key team member in running MASA’s food allergy and OIT program with Dr. Siri.
